If you have been following my blog, you would realize that i still am in Sibu and was not able to get my transfer.The first few weeks in Sibu this month was really painful as i felt sick...really sick for a week and i could not even drink or swallow.My throat hurt a lot.I went to three doctors mind you and even they had no idea what was wrong with me.But on that thurs, i had communion with God and sincerely prayed for healing. Sometimes when all we need is prayer when we fall sick, we tend to depend more on the doctors and medicines more than on the Lord. Prayer was definitely not the first thing in my mind when i felt sick.Come to think of it, i hardly think of praying first nowadays without thinking of a way out of the situation and leaning on my own wisdom.I had to ask the Lord for forgiveness and ask Him to take one step with me everyday of my life.I needed him in my life to lead me and guide me when i am perplexed and don know what to do.God was truly gracious.After taking communion on that thurs, i felt slightly better and the next day,i had communion too and i could not feel the pain in my throat anymore.
Though it is something so simple as healing, sometimes we tend to forget that God wants to be glorified in our lives by healing us of our fever and pain.It may seem something so simply and tiny in God's eyes but yet He loves us so much that he does just that for us.He shows that he wants to heal us and be part of our lives if only we allow Him to.
That day i made commitment to have communion more often with the Lord and to also commit and trust the SMALL THINGS in my life as well as the big things.
I believe my God answers prayers.I BELIEVE.
I will be sharing one or two more stories on God answering prayers soon.
