My loving and wonderful grandma

I wish the whole world knew my grandma.

She was special.

To me, my sis, my bro, my mum and dad

We grew up with her and what a blessing it was for us.

She was such a prayerful woman and one who always had a twinkle in her eye no matter what the situation was or how bad it seemed.

She always taught us to forgive and forget and she was a fine example of it.She was so gentle too. That is what that we will always remember. There was no words of anger or scolding from her. When she corrected us, it was always done in love.

She was also a great testimony too. Once she went to the doctor for her annual checkup and she had a clean bill of health. The doctor then asked her how come at age 92 or so that she was so healthy with no problems.Without missing a beat, she proudly told the doctor that the reason why she was so healthy was because she read the bible and prayed everyday. The doctor looked dumbfounded awhile but regain his composure quickly and praised my grandma for it. So even at age 92 we still can testify of God's goodness.

Oh, grandma was not always so good. Sometimes she was naughty like us too. When mum travels,we usually try to indulge ourselves in things that are not really healthy like ice creams and chocolates.Grandma has a sweet tooth and really enjoys eating these foods but because of grandma's age mum changed all our diet. Thus , when mum is not around, we party. When the day for mum to return approaches, grandma and us grandchildren will run helter skelter to hide our ice cream boxes and chocolate so mum will never know our secrets.

We have very good and fond memories of our grandma.

She was definitely the best grandma in the whole wide world

Today marks four years of her passing away.

Even though she has left us, she is very much still part of us.

She left a wonderful legacy to my family.

She touched our lives.

Thank you God for giving us mama and using her to teach us more about you

Mama,

We love you always and you will always be in our hearts

Love

( Hazel,Sheila , Sheena, Sunny ) Jeremiah

Though i have not seen her, i am sure i am having an encounter with grandma through you. You have pieces of her in you. Your heart and prayerful lifestyle is an inheritance. She planted and watered it and you reap the fruit. I love you dear....

agreed words are just not enought to describe mama. I just thank God everyday as mama was God's best gift to me for 27 years. God knew in those years I needed someone gentle. Wish we could all grow to be like mama to have a twinkle in our eye during difficult times.

You said it right Sunny, I wish our children would have had a chance to have known mama.

I miss mama everyday but I thank God more for mummy, Sheena, Sunny, Andre and Andrew. I love you all.

I am very encouraged by your grandma's life though i didn't have the opportunity to get to know her. But i could see you & your family resemble her in many ways in love, in gentleness & most of all in loving God & also loving people. God's richest blessings upon you all.

I had a dream that my name was (I saw the spelling) Sheena Keenau. That was over 10 years ago! I have never forgot the spelling and the mere fact of this strange dream. I arrived at this lovely site and story by googling this very name when it came up 'free dau sheena u". I do not know if this means anything, perhaps it means "free to soar" Anyone know? I am 52 yrs old now and live in California, I love my Lord Jesus and I love the piano! I have never played the piano but it is my favorite instrument to listen to. I just wanted to share this and thank you for your beautiful uplifting story of your own. God Bless you and kisses for Grandmother. I can be reached at turkoizharley @ yahoo for any feedback on the name or words mentioned above. Thank you.
