A PERFECT BIRTHDAY

I had a wonderful birthday celebration. I just turned 27 yall but i dont feel old at all.My sister and fiancee woke me up at 12 midnight to sing me a birthday song and cut my birthday cake, Indulgence from Secret Recipe.
My bro and mum weren't around and i thought i would be alright but on my birthday itself i couldn't help feeling a little bit sad cos they weren't around.As i went back to sleep after cutting the cake at midnight, i told God to please make this birthday of mine a special one, just for me and i drifted of to sleep.
What i did not know was my sis and fiancee planned a surprised trip to malacca for me. It somehow got leaked out by my mum and bro cos they thought i already knew.I was looking forward to celebrating my birthday away from home.I had never done this before and it seemed mighty interesting.We packed and decided to stay one night in Malacca.
We drove down bout tenish and upon arrival started checking out hotels to stay in.It was pretty difficult finding a place to stay cause almost every hotel we went to had no more rooms available.Finally we came to a hotel near town called queensbay park hotel.It had some really reasonable offers and we had two rooms booked.With all the driving, we were so hungry.We decided to eat some nyonya food.If anyone goes to Malacca, u must try that.Its something not to be missed.Simply amazing and delicious and yummy.I really ate a lot.
In the evening, we went down to klebang to the beach to walk and enjoy the scenery.It was beautiful.Sitting down on the rocks with my family around me as we talked and laughed brought
gladness and thankfulness to God for this beautiful day he had given to me.We then drove to the portugese settlement to eat their food. It is definitely an acquired taste.The amazing thing that happened here was that the owner of the restaurant found out it was my birthday and after the meal, he sang me a birthday song.It was wonderful and he had such wonderful bass voice.He continued singing two more portugese numbers and a spanish song.My aunt who came along with us was so excited cos it was an oldie song.She began singing the song but i thought it had different words from what the man sang ;) I really felt so special.Special in the eyes of God
We ended out trip to Jonker street.Andrew, my fiancee bought some really cool t-shirts for me.One said..... i love my boyfriend....Looks like its more for him than for me.The trip ended with a real bang.It was a superb and wonderful ending.We all rode on trishaws.I got to thank my sis,Sheila for this.She is the adventurous and brave one in the family. She first suggested that my aunt and uncle go on the trishaw cause the walk was too far and then we followed suit.It was a bit scary as we came to a slope.I had to close my eyes and pray real hard but we arrived safely at our destination.
As i sat in the car to return to the Hotel, i silently gave thanks to the Lord for truly making this day special for me.I also thank God for my Sister and my fiancee,Andrew and my family for making this day truly an unforgettable birthday for me.This is my best birthday and i thank God for His extravagant love He has poured out to me and my family.I have the best sister and fiancee ever.Thank you God for that.
