Why His Way ?

When situations turn against me, gradually I tend to let the worries to eat me. Why am I of such small faith when God's word is asking me not to be shaken for Christ sake.
God is not asking me to rally on problem and its damage but he wants me to be connected to His river in my infavourable situation.

What Word of God Says
Psalm 46 Vs 1-4

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,the holy place where the Most High dwells.

It is obvious that God wants me to find the river and be connected to it. This river connects to God source of "goodies". God's word says that in every situation and season of my life He has a river (at least one) and it will take me to a place of "heavenly goodies" - gladness, riches, testimony, peace, joy and love. These "goodies" are my entitlement to be enjoyed on earth !

How if the situation continues to turn sour or problems rages war against me ? When everything fails beyond my expectation and prayers seems left unanswered or unattended ? What to do ? Do I turn away from God for His unjust "punishment" ?

What Word of God Says
Psalm 46 Vs 1-4

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

God is not assesing my situation using my deducing skills and viewing the situation from my short sighted viewing window. He has a picture of my success in His hands. He is assesing the situation with eternal cause & effect to the best of my interest.
God wants me not to be moved or shaken cause he will never cause his righteous ones to suffer shame or be moved. He takes pleasure in the success of His servant.

I should stop worrying and allow Holy Spirit to take control of my life. After all, he is the author of my life.
